OMG - Late afternoon Friday before H.S. Graduation.
My heart was aflutter and I was so excited!

Yep, I’m a little quirky!  That’s me pictured an hour before High School Graduation with one zit – the only one during High School.  I couldn’t have been more bored with the zit and graduation. I felt like a fast car in the slow lane, and life was just too dull. BTW - no one seemed to notice the irony of the event. The New Haven Bull Dogs’ colors were Purple and Gold, but we wore blue caps and gowns with a white tassel. It was just lame!

I wasn’t coached well by my parents, teachers, or employers. My experience built my passion for learning why their efforts left me dismayed rather than inspired. I learned the secrets of having authentic conversations that ignite inspiration and motivation. I regularly employ those tools to get top-notch results and I’m willing to share them with you.

It was Thursday when I was on my way to the Unemployment Office.  I think I once pulled up at an intersection behind Bill Gates, waiting to turn left in his beater car,  My instinct said, “Follow him!” but I didn’t and turned right.  I never got financially wealthy, but I created a consulting, training, and development practice that helped me hone my mentoring and coaching skills and learn how to teach adults.  You can learn the secrets, too, by reading The Stage and Beyond which was written for pageant coaches but the skills are the same regardless of the industry.

Rather than spend my life on the road working from gig to gig, I now write, which is work, but I’m not workin’ a job.  Writing makes me happy and “keeps me off the street!”  The process lets me focus on sharing wisdom through one-on-one consulting and working with people who want to grow and experience more from life. Humor, Learning, and Reflection are the concepts that successful people practice. Becoming high-performance is simple yet challenging and routinely needs a mentor’s input. Let me get you started!

When people peruse my website, I smile! :) Glad you are here!
